Our goals:

• Interview community members to identify their goals for Internet access and use
• Teach digital literacy basics and Webpage development
• Facilitate conversations with locals about Internet governance
• Work with leaders on Internet futures planning

Examples of outreach activities:

• Held a community network measurement workshop using mobile apps for LTE measurement and demoing the aerial measurement drone
• Invited to measure LTE using aerial drone at Northern New Mexico College, where we demonstrated our approach to several faculty and students
• Met with Rio Arriba County Sheriff, Fire Marshall, and Emergency Services to share how our methods might help them with characterizing the availability of emergency services
• Formed ongoing partnership with Santa Clara Housing Authority, and Community Learning Network has continued to partner with them for activities such as Hour of Code
